Distributors Guild of Ghana allegedly said it would not allow Abdul Salam, the distributor of the film, to release it. The group allegedly said it would only allow Venus Film Productions to distribute the films if Leila rendered an unqualified apology to the group for certain comments she made about Opera Square when she had issues with one of its members. DKB Takes Anti-Gender Violence Campaign To St. John’s Grammar High School

DKB Former Ghanaian representative of the ongoing Big Brother reality show DKB was at his alma mater, St. John’s Grammar High School, with his anti-gender violence campaign as he promised. According to his management, Ecstasy and Boom Entertainment, “DKB wants to use his experience to teach the youth the consequences of provoking and anger, how to refrain and handle it.” The show was an edutainment package where he spoke about his scandal, the emotional torture he went through, how to deal with anger and provocations etc. coupled with entertainment such as a performance of his apology song, an anti-violence rap competition and dance competition, with the winners taking away autographed anti-gender violence t-shirts.
