Nino |
Ghanaian singer Nino, otherwise known in real life as
Agyemang Kofi Offeh, is set to release his latest single titled ‘Fanosaa’.
Currently, the song is getting applauds from those who had the
opportunity to listen it and is making waves in UK and some African countries.
Barely a year ago, was Nino involved in an accident which
nearly took his life.
‘Fanosaa’, which literary means ‘be content with what you
have’, is described as great masterpiece, with a fusion of palm wine, Salsa and
Hindi genres of music.
What attracts a wider audience to this ‘chef-d’oeuvre’ is
that he sang the song in Ghanaian local language (Twi), French and English.
Good music has no barriers because most of those who have heard
the song don’t even understand the entire lyrics but the music makes sense to
them.
The composition of the song is simply amazing. Nino is
credited with two powerful tracks and many more are cooking in the studios.
His songs are smooth to the ear and speak to the heart and
mind. Nino’s second single has not yet been played in Ghana, but it is making
headway elsewhere.
There is massive airplay of Nino’s second track ‘Fanosaa’ in
UK. Voice of Africa Radio in London and D’priest; a DJ of Pure FM in Portsmouth
UK have played the song over and over again.
DJ Anansi of
feelingmandy.fm also in London did justice to the song and the response was
massive. Paladin Radio in America and Freemantle Radio in Australia went a step
further to interview Nino on their show.
Capital Radio of Malawi, Stara Radio in Indonesia and many
more have craved for more of Nino’s song because of its uniqueness.
A renowned TV personality and topmost female icon in Kenya,
Anyiko Owoko, after listening to Nino’s songs, said, “Your tunes are very
sensational”.
No wonder international RnB singer, the ‘Replay’ hit maker
Iyaz endorsed him as the next big thing from Ghana.
Iyaz is reportedly having talks with Nino to work with him
soon. Nino’s management has promised it is going to drop the hit track soon in
Ghana for Ghanaians to have a feel of the masterpiece.
