I Can’t Find Trustworthy Love – Actress Leonora Okine

Leonora Okine and Chris Attoh
Actress Leonora Okine has confessed that she is yet to find a “trustworthy love” in any man.
The beautiful actress has spoken about her love life for the first time in about three years after she denied ever dating fellow actor John Dumelo, who has already been associated with a number of ladies in the entertainment industry.
Leonora was speaking to NEWS-ONE on Friday about the reason she would choose her career over marriage at the moment.
“It makes no sense to choose marriage over career unless you’re moving away from where your career is so you can be with your partner. You shouldn’t have to choose between marriage and career; you can have both. Depending on the kind of person you are, marriage alone by itself or career alone by itself cannot make you happy. Either one can make you happy for a long time but your feelings about them may eventually change. I find it a dangerous thing to have to choose, and I wouldn’t.
“The career comes first for me right now because I’m yet to find trustworthy love. When I do find it, it better not put me in the position to choose because I would choose my career over marriage. Marriage should be supportive of your career if you can find a fairly satisfactory compromise, but if it can’t, I would choose my career,” she said.
Leonora last made headlines when she was named among the cast of MTV Base awareness series, ‘Shuga’. That followed her exit from popular Mnet produced soap, ‘Tinsel’.
She and Chris Attoh were the first Ghanaian actors to have made it on ‘Shuga’ which is aired to millions of TV audiences. She has currently been shooting in Nigeria.
