Yvonne Okoro Builds Playground For Special Kids

Yvonne Okoro
Celebrated Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro will be launching a playground she has built for underprivileged children at the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra.
The playground project is part of the actress’ commitment to giving back to society and her affection for special kids and children in general.
She wants the children to play and have fun like other kids out there; hence her decision to provide the children with a modern style playground.
She was scheduled to launch it long ago before schools go on break but the event was postponed.
‘The Contract’ actress is yet to announce a new date for the project launch; but current indications are that she is complete with all plans for the big launch.
Sources close to the first Ghanaian actress who was featured on BBC Newsday Live and BBC Focus On Africa with Komla Dumor, said she was looking to make the playground building project a yearly   project.
Hopefully, if things go on well for her, career-wise, she will target an underprivileged school each year where she will build a playground for kids.
