Actress Belinda Effah Says Ecobank Nigeria Is 'Archaic'

Beautiful actress Belinda Effah has a bone to pick with a Nigerian branch of giant financial institution, Ecobank. On Monday the actress, who was adjudged 2013 Promising Actor at the last Africa Movie Academy Awards in Bayelsa, Nigeria, for her role in the movie, ‘Kokomma’ openly took to some public platforms to make known her frustrations with the bank, she described as “archaic

“Ecobank is so archaic; gosh remind me never to use the bank again until they develop their technology. snailpace.com SMH,” she said on twitter on Monday.
Belinda gave reasons to think she was not enthusiastic and comfortable with the kind of services offered by the bank which has other branches across Africa including Ghana.
She earlier tweeted about how crowded the bank was and likened it to a marketplace.
Belinda, who is based in Nollywood, sometimes plies her trade in Ghana. She is described as a wonderful actress in Nollywood.
She began her acting career through a TV series titled, ‘Shallow Water’ and has since risen through the ranks. She was a contestant in the 2006 edition of the Next Movie Star reality show and has since featured in a lot of movies.
Among her movies are ‘Mrs. Somebody’, ‘Azonto Girls’, ‘Bigger Ladies’ and ‘Udeme mmi’ more. Belinda is from Cross River State and a member of a large family.
She attended the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Port Harcourt and later studied Genetics and Biotechnology at the University of Calabar, but found herself in the creative arts industry.
