Miss Universe Ghana Goes Into Music

Hanniel Jamin
18-year-old, Hanniel Jamin, winner of Miss Universe Ghana 2013, has decided to join Ghana’s music scene even before her reign as Miss Universe Ghana 2013 comes to an end next year.  The queen and model on Monday, July 15 officially entered the music industry with the release of her first single of her upcoming album.
The new single is titled, “Don’t Leave,” was produced by Mr. Brown.
It is the first time; a queen who took part in the Miss Universe Ghana pageant is entering Ghana’s music industry and she is hopeful to rock shoulders with Ghana’s mainstream musicians and perhaps the world over.
Hanniel beat nine other contestants to be crowned winner of this year’s Miss Universe Ghana pageant that has been rocked with series of prize controversies after last year's winner Gifty Ofori complained about not receiving her full prize package.
Hanniel won GH¢5,000 worth of a wardrobe, a New York Film Academy scholarship, a management and public relations deal, and a one year gym membership and other packages. Hopes are that she would receive hers as promised.
