Popular Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah is taking a trek into business after making a mark on the movie scene as one of Ghana’s successful actresses.
The beautiful actress is set to launch an ultra modern
beauty salon called Martha’s Place.
The facility is located inside the Maa Bee Plaza, the
storey building adjacent Karldorlf and will be launched on Friday from 4:00pm
to 8:00pm.
A tall list of Ghana celebrities and her pals in the
movie industry will be attending the ceremony on Friday evening.
It is the ‘Sin
of the Soul’ actress’ first business venture that has hit the public
domain. But sources said she has other business achievements in town.
Martha is currently one of Ghana’s recognized faces on the African continent.
She started acting from Fun World
days and has since appeared in a number of Ghanaian movies and received a number
of awards and nominations in some of the continent’s prestigious award
ceremonies.
She was recently honoured by the University of Education, Winneba after
she had been named as one of the recipients of this year’s UEW SRC’s Honouring
Awards as part of activities marking the 20th anniversary of the council.
