They Say I Am Tema’s Finest MC-MC Coaches

MC Coaches

He entered Ghana’s entertainment industry as manager of popular Ghanaian songstress Itz Tiffany, but Coaches, born Charles Adu Koranteng, appears to be making hay while the sun shines.
Over the years, he has taken his managerial skills to the next level and made progress into other areas of entertainment. Currently, Coaches is tagged as one of the fastest rising entertainment businessmen in Ghana from Tema.
He now owns a production house called Penthaus Production which is into event organization and artiste management among other activities in the entertainment industry.
Besides the award-winning songstress Itz Tiffany, he also manages other influential artistes as Yaw Siki and Freddy1 and also supports other iconic musicians in various ways.
Interestingly, Coaches has now added another calling as an MC.
Last year and this year, he hosted or emceed big concerts in Tema and Accra including  wedding receptions, album launches, product launches, fashion shows etc.
He was the MC for the R2bees album launch last week and did impressively well.
“Now some people say I am TM's (Tema’s) finest,” he told NEWS-ONE in an interview.
He said emceeing had been part of him since his days as entertainment prefect at the Apam Secondary School. He just thought it was a good opportunity to explore it now.
He gets his inspiration from God and KKD.  “I look up to God and KKD,” he added.
But why is he called Coaches?  This is what he has to say: “The name coaches came up in High School when I was the entertainment prefect, my mates thought I was good with everything entertainment so then they called me ‘showbiz coach’ which transformed to ‘Coaches’.”
