VIP’s Boys Not Dead

Stranger

Ghanaian music group FOI, made up of Abdul Hamid aka ‘Lil Kryz’, and Nuwame Apim Michael aka ‘Double Eye’, has denied rumours that the group has collapsed and would not release any music work anytime soon as a duo.
There were rumuors that members of the group had gone their separate ways. As a result, Double Eye had changed his name to Stranger and was recording his solo album. He
had already recorded his new solo single titled ‘Do It’, featuring music group VIP.
He is also featuring on an upcoming single titled ‘Say Kulley’ by Lizzard, another talent from Nima.
However, Stranger told NEWS-ONE in an interview that the group had not separated or collapsed as people were claiming. He said there was a mutual agreement between him and his band mate that they could do any solo project anytime.
“FOI is never dead. Whoever said FOI is dead is lying. Stranger is my new nickname. It is nothing new that I’m recording a solo album. There is no misunderstanding between us,” he added.
FOI is an acronym for Fruit of Inspiration and the group takes its musical inspiration from award-winning group VIP.
It has performed alongside VIP on many big stages. The group’s 2011 hit single, ‘One More Time’, is still enjoying massive airplay.
FOI has been on the entertainment scene for quite some time.
Currently, it is flying with more than three releases including its favourite, ‘We no go kpeme’.
In January 2011, it premiered the video of one of its singles, ‘One More Time’ featuring VIP, at Reggie Rockstone’s Office and that generated a lot of attention.
