Prince David To Showcase ‘Snipperdee Wear’ At 2012 Ghana Fashion Awards

Award winning Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei will be showcasing his P.D.O clothing code named Snipperdee at this year’s Ghana Fashion Awards.  
The actor launched his clothing line last December and has since been enjoying some attention from the fashion industry.
With barely a few weeks to the second edition of the Ghana Fashion Awards, organisers are also pleased to disclose names of some interesting entertainers who will be performing at the event on November 24, 2012 at the International Trade Fair Centre.
Among them are Nii Obi Addo, a steel pan musician and PKay, an upcoming comedian who are expected to thrill the audience with their sizzling performances and add great flavor to the event.    
This year’s award categories will have an interesting addition of a Celebrity Fashion Icon award which will go to the most fashionable Ghanaian celebrity. The other categories for this year's event are as follows;
Best Designer of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year, Accessories Designer of the Year (Jewellery & Beads Option), Accessories Designer of the Year (Bags, Shoes & Hair Option), Model of the Year, Contribution to Fashion Photography, Fashion Contributor in Education and Mentoring, Ghana's Celebrity Fashion Icon of the Year, Fashion Retailer of the Year, Popular Make-up Artist of the Year and Contribution to Fashion Communication and Media. 
GFA 2012 gives its highly honored invited guests a unique opportunity of enjoying a showcase by designers such as Prince David Osei (Ghana), Timothy (Togo) and a surprise designer.
GFA 2012 will be strictly by invitation and is being supported by Black Secrets, Agoo Magazine, and Fashion Expo.

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town.
