‘Ties That Bind’ Goes On ITunes, Amazon Others Tuesday October 30

Ghanaian director of international repute Leila Djansi will be releasing her award-winning film, ‘Ties That Bind’ on major media stores online tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30. 
Among the list of online media stores the film will be released on are ITunes, Youtube.com movies, Xbox, Vudu and Amazon. Movie enthusiasts who don’t have access to VCD copies of the films can now purchase the film online via the abovementioned platforms.
‘Ties That Bind’ remains one of the award-winning films to have been produced in Africa with diverse cast from around the world.
Produced by Turning Point Pictures, the film was released on VCDs in September after a few controversies.

Earlier, the film was a cinema success across Africa. Its various premieres in countries including Canada, Nigeria and Ghana registered one of the biggest audiences ever.
In Ghana, a large number of movie enthusiasts and industry stakeholders turned up at the National Theatre to see the movie. It was also screened at different international film festivals around the world.
‘Ties That Bind’ was rated as one of the dynamic movies of recent times considering its cast and story.
The cast included Ama K. Abebrese, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and American actress Kimberly Elise.
Kimberly was flown down to Ghana for the production.  Prince David Osei, John Dumelo, David Dontoh and Fred Amugi also starred in the movie. 
‘Ties That Bind’ tells the story of Adobea (Omotola), Buki (Ama K.) and Theresa (Kimberly), three women from different walks of life bound together by a similar pain- the loss of a child. In a destined meeting in a small village in Kroboland, the women journey together to redemption, love, life and forgiveness as they renovate a dilapidated clinic for the villagers.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana
