Born Yayra Ametewee, her stage name is Yayra. She is a very cool and appealing young lady dedicated to building and exploring her God given talent, music, for the whole world to see.
Yayra is also an old student of Archbishop Porter Girl's High School and currently studying at the Central University College.
 She recently introduced herself to the music industry by sharing the
same stage with Samini, Keche, V.I.P, Kaaki and Bradez at the All Star Revolution Concert held by Homeproud Events in Kumasi. She performed her first single, ‘Get On It’
Identifying her talent of singing, rapping and dancing at a tender age of 11, music has become part of her life. She does more of Afro hip pop, RNB, and hip pop and is inspired by her environment and things she hears every day in life.
Yayra is enjoying massive airplay with ‘Get On It’ and is yet to release her second single which she calls an “instant hit”.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia. Venus is yet to answer critics why the production was done in Gambia.   JJ Bunny came down from her Houston base last November for the movie in Ghana. After the movie, she travelled to Ghana. She has since remained in Africa as she has been bombarded with movie scripts. She has been described as a Nollywood US A-List actress residing in the United States.
