Award Winning Ghanaian Movie ‘Single & Married’ Goes To Kumasi

A scene from Accra premiere

After two successful premiering events in Accra and Lagos, Nigeria, actress Yvonne Nelson and her Media GH team will be heading to Kumasi to outdoor the movie there.
Close sources said arrangements had been made to premiere the movie at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology on October 20.
Some of the crème de la crème of the movie industry and the cast of the movie will be at the premiering event to enjoy the movie with fans who attend the event.
Weeks ago, Nollywood movie fans applauded the movie as a very good one when it was premiered in Nigeria at the Silverbird Cinema, Galleria, located in the heart of Nigeria’s rich neighbourhood Victoria Island.
That ceremony attracted hundreds of Nigerian movie fans and a large number of Nollywood media, who trooped to the cinema to witness the historic movie with an amazing cast of different career backgrounds. It was directed by Pascal Amanfo.
The movie, narrated by Ghana’s iconic presenter Anita Erskine, delves into the intricacies of marriage and the challenges of being single, with focus on young adults.
The story line raised serious issues about why spouses cheat on their partners and how to stop them. But it was told in a rather subtle, entertaining way. It is indeed a must-see movie.
Prior to the Nollywood premiere, it made major success in Accra when it was premiered at the Silverbird Cinema.
