Ghanaian Actress Jackie Appiah Is Sweet-JJ Bunny

Houston actress JJ Bunny has described popular Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah as a “sweet actress”, after they starred together in Venus Films’ upcoming romantic movie, ‘Groom’s Bride’ which also stars Africa’s Best Actor, Majid Michel
The movie is expected to hit the big screens at a major premiere on June 29 at the Silverbird Cinema Accra.
JJ Bunny acted with Jackie for the first time in the movie and said Jackie was good to work with.
At the movie’s press preview on Thursday, she was not available for questions on her experience in Ghana.
But NEWS-ONE managed to get her to drop a comment via social network Facebook, about acting with Jackie Appiah.
“It was my first movie with Jackie Appiah and she is sweet. Everybody on that set was amazing,” she told NEWS-ONE.
The movie was shot in Gambia, the reason JJ Bunny came to Africa six months ago and has since not returned to her Houston base.

She has acted in a number of Diasporan and African movies shot in the United State of America. She is currently in Nigeria shooting for the first time.
She has always been tagged as a Nigerian actress but had never been in Nigeria before until now.  
JJ and Jackie’s new movie is about love and African tourism.
It is a story of Bill (Majid Michel) who is engaged to Loveth (JJ Bunny). He travels to The Gambia in search of a suitable place for their honeymoon where he meets and falls in love with Asumpi (Jackie Appiah), his Gambian tour guide.
Bill cancels his wedding with Loveth on their wedding day and marries Asumpi, but just six months into their marriage, he realizes his heart is still with Loveth and therefore wants to go back to her.

The movie’s premiere is expected to attract a lot of movie enthusiasts. It will also be screened at some selected cities in Gambia, South Africa, Nigeria, Italy, and Holland. There will be three other grand premieres in USA and London.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town.
