Eddie Watson Supports Good Shepherd Orphanage


As part of efforts to give back to society, Liberian-born Ghanaian actor Eddie Watson supported Next Media Concept to donate items to the Good Shepherd Orphanage at Kasoa on Saturday.
Items donated included shoes, clothes, toys, food sponsored by Chicken Republic and drinks including Xtra Fruit Drink from the producers of Kalypo.
Next Media Concept presented cash donation of GH¢500 while Eddie Watson supported with 400 US Dollars, making a total of over GH¢900.
The fine-looking actor also pledged to sponsor an academic year of a female orphan including books and providing transportation to school.
Children at the home were elated to receive the actor at the orphanage.
After the donation, Esther Afu, Face of Vienna City, under the auspices of Next Media Concept, sponsored the children at the home a fun trip to Akosombo.  
Eddie Watson and Next Media Concept have been phenomenal in giving back to society. They embarked on a similar project last year at the New Life Orphanage International at Nungua, a suburb of Accra.
At that event too, Eddie offered to sponsor a year’s fees of one of the orphans, Emily Quaye, a student of Armed Forces Senior High School.
Also, he fronted the donation of items worth over GH¢1200 to the orphans by Next Media Concept and Afrodiva Entertainment, which he is signed to.
He also added a cash amount of GH¢500.
