My Body Is No Deal -Michelle Dekker

Michelle Dekker
Models find themselves in their kind of profession largely because they have good bodies or figures that do not discourage them from being exposed.
But 18-year-old Netherland Ghanaian model, Michelle Dekker, has a different opinion.
She told NEWS-ONE in an exclusive interview that whatever her body looked like did not influence her decision to become a model.
“I used to be slimmer than I am now. I have actually put on some weight. But if even I am weighing 5000 pounds, I will still model,” she added.
Michelle beat 9 other wannabe models to emerge the winner of Exopa New Faces contest held at the Exopa Burg last month.
She became the audience’s favourite after she her fierce catwalk and dance steps, coupled with her amazing body. The judges had no other choice but to let her be the ultimate winner.
“I school at Exopa and I have passion for modelling. It is something I like to do, so I joined the competition to try my luck. That was my first experience on a runway in an official event. It was fan,” she said.
She explained that she wasn’t shy on stage and that explained her confidence on the show.
She added that she did a bit of acting in school when she was a kid and that had built her confidence level.
Michelle Dekker was born to a Ghanaian mum and Dutch dad. She partly had her education abroad and in Ghana.
Michelle has great passion for modelling and hopes to be a great model one day and be an inspiration to many young girls out there.
