Big Brother Alex Biney In A New Reality Show

Alex Biney

After his promise to start a trade in Ghana’s fashion industry and subsequently appearing in a local movie, Ghana’s male representative at the last Big Brother Amplified reality show, Alex Biney, will now be starring in a reality TV show.
The ‘Bomaye’ man is currently involved in a new reality show dubbed ‘I'm In Love With...?’ It is being put together by Access Media Productions in collaboration with DSTV and is expected to show on a local TV station after everything is done.
The show is centered on Biney and his quest to find his African queen.
The show is however modeled loosely after successful shows like 'The Bachelor' and 'Flavor Of Luv', as 12 carefully selected women from some selected African countries will compete to win the heart of Biney over a period of 13 weeks in a house.
With the help of viewers and friends, ‘Bomaye’ must select the right girl who will choose him over the $20,000 cash prize at stake. Alex earned the title ‘the ladies man’ when four of his housemates declared their affection for him during his stay in the Big Brother house.
The show was launched last Saturday at Ashongman in Accra where Alex answered questions about his decision to be on the show.
He said he was likely to pick his wife at the end of the show.
Mabel Germain, a representative of Access Media, told NEWS-ONE that the show would be an annual event. Her outfit decided to use Alex for the first edition.
The show, she noted, was aimed at educating the world about what an African man truly looked out for in an African woman whilst entertaining TV audience. It will highlight to the world what African women go through to win the heart of men.
It will also create a platform to explore and harness talent and creativity with a view to promoting peace, unity and understanding amongst Africans through entertainment.
Twelve finalists from some selected countries across Africa, including Nigeria, will enter the main event. These selected women will be housed in Ghana over a period of 13 weeks. In the house, they will undertake several activities and will be made to undergo various tasks to help bring out their diverse traits.
Special friends close to Alex will spend time with the contestants and Alex in the course of the show.
These friends will spend up to a day or two on in the house to help guide Alex to choose the right girl, and to help expose the groupies among the contestants.
Every week on Sundays, between the hours of 7pm and 8pm, a grand eviction platform will be set to evict any contestant who is not really impressing the man of the house, Alex, live on TV.
Special music performances by celebrity friends will also be held on eviction nights to celebrate the ladies who survive eviction. Three finalists will be put up against each other on the last night, during which two will be evicted by Alex, leaving the last contestant as the eventual winner.
The winner will have to make a choice of either walking away with $20,000 worth of prizes or abandoning the money and following her heart by accepting the love of Alex.
The show will be airing twice a week. The first will last an hour and will summarize the highlights of the week, including events leading to nomination. The second will be the eviction show and will last half an hour.
