Lydia Forson Ends Tour With Nollywood Friends




Actress Lydia Forson returned to Ghana on Friday, after touring the United State of America with an array of Nollywood actors.
Among them were Genevieve Nnaji, Ini Edo, Uti Nwachuku and Desmond Elliot.
They were in the US for the premiere of ‘In The Cupboard’, a movie produced by rLG ambassador Desmond Elliot.
They visited various cities in the USA where they received rousing welcome.
The movie first premiered at the Center Inc., New Jersey on November 4, followed by a November 12 premiere in New York at 1744 Nostrand Avenue, Bet Cortelyou & Clarendon Road, Brooklyn, NY.
There was another premiere at Studio Movie Grill in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, November 13.
The movie has been described as a family movie which portrays how a family thrives to find perfection even in the midst of its imperfections.   
It is a story that revolves around the lives of six siblings born into the rich, aristocratic Desouza family; a name synonymous with wealth and power.
Everything seems perfect in their lives until their father dies unexpectedly and all of them gather from different parts of the world to be with their mother, the elegant matriarch Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Desouza (played to the ‘T’ by legendary actress Biola Williams- ‘Mind-bending’).
What ensues is a series of events that threatens to shake the family to its very foundations.
The movie’s star-studded cast includes Ini EdoUti Nwachukwu, Alexx Ekubo, Bishop Ime Umoh and features upcoming actors Morris Sesay and Tessy Abubakar and Lydia Forson.
Forson has some major movies on the editing bench to be released before the close of the year. They include ‘Masqueraders’ by Zedec Entertainment and ‘Phone Swap’

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town.
