Exopa Fashion Café Rocks Tomorrow



The Exopa Modeling Agency will tomorrow Saturday September 24 stage the September edition of its exciting fashion and modeling event dubbed ‘Exopa Fashion Café’.
The event is a platform to display different designs of clothes, especially miniskirts and bikinis with the aim of projecting summer tourism.
The first edition took place on August 27 at the Exopa Burge and it was successful, with top stars Tinny, Lydia Forson, Joseph Agbeko, Alex of Big Brother fame, silky-voiced Nii Soul, Jon Germain, Kokoveli and a number of   others passing through.
Tomorrow night’s event will come with a lot of exciting packages including planned display of Kente and African fabrics from fashion designers of the evening as well as a bikini show. 
The Fashion Cafe concept is also to celebrate Ghana’s fashion industry and also promote African fabrics while giving beautiful African ladies, particularly Ghanaians, the necessary training and opportunity to build a career in the modelling industry. The event hopes to revamp the fashion industry and offer runway show lovers a place to have fun.
The event is held every last Saturday of the month at the Exopa Burge, from 9pm. The contestants will go through various rudiments of modelling.
Winner of each month’s Miss NEWS-ONE segment of the Exopa Fashion Cafe will get a full page interview with NEWS-ONE and a 2-year contract with Exopa, both at home and abroad.
The winner of the December event will take home a GH¢300 cash prize, a weekend trip for two and a stay in a top hotel in Ghana.  Saturday’s show promises to be exciting.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia.
