I’m Allergic To Smoke- Ebi Bright

A number of Ghanaian celebrities smoke cigarettes and cigars publicly while some smoke other substances behind closed doors but controversial actress Ebi Bright says she is not part of the clique that smokes.
“No I don’t smoke at all. No I don’t and I am even allergic to smoke. That is another challenge for me, when I am on set because I had my lungs collapsed twice before. So it is a major miracle that I speak today,” Ebi said on eTV’s Late Night Celebrity show on Monday evening when she appeared on the show with fellow actress Chichi.
Interestingly, on the same show, a snippet of the movie titled ‘Pool Party’ was shown in which Ebi was in the same with room with a fellow actress who was busy smoking.
Ebi, a consultant, entered the movie industry less than two years ago when Frank Rajah introduced her into it. Her first role was in the ‘The Game’ by Hero Productions, in which she played the role of a hired assassin.
The former General Management student of Leicester University in the UK did not anticipate going into acting but after her performance in ‘The Game’, roles kept coming.
She also starred in ‘Pool Party’, ‘Somewhere In Africa’, ‘Ultimate Powers’, ‘Bed of Roses’, ‘Single Six’ and ‘Silent Writer’.
