Jay Foley Throws Celebrity B’day Bash

Jay Foley, producer of entertainment show 2131, will tonight take entertainment to the next level with a huge celebrity birthday party in Accra.

Jay, on Wednesday, July 27, added another year to his age and the big party is to celebrate the milestone with pals in the showbiz industry and the corporate world.

There will be enough to party with including good drinks and meals, a source said.
It is strictly by invitation and no special dress code has been prescribed. A tall list of celebrities has also been mentioned to be at the ceremony which starts at 7pm.
A number of his friends are planning to surprise him, while others are also planning to baptize him with drinks and food residues.
Jay remains one of Ghana’s innovative young entrepreneurs in the showbiz arena. He is the producer of 2131, a hip-hop show for young people between the ages of 21 and 31 years to discover their talents.
Last year, August 21, he lined up the crème-de-la-crème of Ghana’s music industry for a show dubbed ‘The Black August’ at the Boomerang Nightclub in Accra to raise funds for the Dialysis Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Jay’s effort to raise funds was to meet the need of all patients.
Earlier this year, he was named acting programmes manager of YFm where he also works. Over the years, he also hosted 4syte TV magazine on TV3 and now eTV.
Currently, he also manages a couple of Ghanaian artistes including ‘The Thing’ hit-maker, Atumpan.
