Uti Mourns Christmas Day Bombing Victims

Big Brother All Stars winner and Nollywood actor Uti Nwachukwu has expressed his condolences to families who lost their love ones in the Christmas day church bombing in Nigeria. BBC’s Chris Ewokor reported on February 1 that t housands of mourners in Nigeria had attended the burial service for people killed as result of the attack. The young actor is definitely saddened by the death toll of about 43 victims. “ My heart goes out to all the families of the victims of the Christmas day bombings. May the Lord comfort you as you have buried your loved ones,” he posted on his twitter page. So far, Uti is the only star who has been heard expressing his condolences publicly. It likely others will follow suit. He is currently one of Nigeria’s most celebrated stars. Luckie Lawson’s Villa Garden Turns Mangoase

Star actress Luckie Lawson has gone local with her restaurant business. Two years ago, the beautiful actress and mother of one closed down her Villa Garden restaurant at Asylum Down and left to the United State of America. At the time, everybody thought she was saying goodbye to her restaurant business but she bounced back late last year to continue the business. In December, Luckie opened her new place for the media for food tasting. She changed the name from Villa Garden to Mangoase and this is located at East Legon, adjacent Del International Hospital. It is a few minutes’ drive from the PH Hotel, the former Protea Hotel. Like her former Villa Garden, the place is becoming the hub of some of Ghana’s celebrities who pass through to have lunch. It’s one of the latest food joints in East Legon. Mangoase serves tilapia and banku, fufu and all kinds of soup, rice and stew, omotuo, tuozaafi and more.

Star actress Yvonne Nelson Actress Yvonne Nelson has notified the public that the rumour mongers who went to town with claims that she was selling fake Louis Vuitton (LV) bags in her YN Closet have ran away from their claims. According to the leggy actress, they could not validate their claims after she opened her shop to them. She opened her doors to them, asking those involved in particular to come and check her shop if indeed there were LV bags on sale in her shop but none of them showed up. “I thought they would come to the shop and verify, as serious as they claimed they were, when they spewed those lies about me. All the ladies were determined but after four rounds of fierce catwalk and dancing, 20-year-old UK-based Jamaican Makedah proved herself worthy of the crown as the best model of the night.
