Nominations for the 2013 edition of Ghana Models Award are out and some popular names in Ghana’s entertainment industry are in there.
Among them are actress Yvonne Nelson, Roseline Okoro, Menaye D. Muntari and Deborah Vanessa alongside other consummate models like Joycelyn Nketia, Zion Benjamin, Prince Ibrahim, Meek Ghartey and a number of others.
The Ghana Models Award (GMA) which is aimed at honouring excellence and creativity in the modelling and fashion sector of the creative arts industry would come off at the Novotel Hotel in Accra via a glamorous ceremony next month.
Yvonne Nelson and Menaye D. Muntari are competing for Model of the Year (Female) – Overall category while Roseline Okoro and Deborah Vanessa are up for Discovery of the Year category. Manaye had an additional nomination for Model of the Year - Editorial/ Commercial – Female category.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town.
