Fafali, Basit Win Exopa New Face

21-year-old former student of Teshie Presbyterian Senior High School Irene Fafali, was the beautiful young model adjudged winner of the October edition of Exopa New Faces contest last Saturday night.

25-year-old Abdul Basit Idris won the male category of the contest.

Fafali beat 11 other female contestants to emerge winner after different rounds of interesting catwalk and fashion displays as well as talent performances.
Judges gave her the nod after they were convinced her catwalk and confidence surpassed that of her other colleague wannabe models.
She was closely followed by 20-year-old student of the Valley View University Spendilove Nuamah and 19-year-old student of IPMC, Irene Asiedu, who emerged as first and second runners-up respectively.

There were also interesting runway exhibition by the male counterparts of the programme with 23-year-old Osman Abass and 20-year-old student of the University of Ghana, John Quarshie taking first and second runners-up positions respectively.

The show, as usual, took place at the Exopa Burg behind the Zenith College and attracted quite a number of modelling and fashion enthusiasts.
It was indeed a night of interesting catwalks and great designs on display.
Professional fashion designers who sponsored the models to display their works included Jay Ray Ghartey Collection, Alinafe Misomali, Shrok and Nicoline.

There was also out of the ordinary performances by upcoming musicians, who were given the platform to showcase their talent. 
Among them were Xylo, T.O.P, Da Rocket, Collenshy and 1cedis. 
The winners have a contract with the Exopa Modelling Agency and other juicy packages including cover page articles in NEWS-ONE and spotlight exposure on Metro TV’s Allo TiGo.
The event will continue every last Saturday of the month at the Exopa Burg where the event always takes place. The show is expected get be more exciting in the coming months.
