Yvonne Nelson Wins Ghana Hottest Actress In Nollywood Award

Stunner actress Yvonne Nelson sealed claims of being Ghana’s hottest actress in Nollywood with an award at the 2013 edition of the City People Awards held last Sunday.
She beat a number of her colleague actresses, Emmanuella Mensah, Martha Ankomah, Juliet Ibrahim and Nadia Buari, who ply their trade in Nollywood to win the category.
The award confirmed earlier reports of NEWS-ONE that she is the hottest Ghanaian actress in Nollywood.
Prince David Osei took the Hottest Ghanaian Actor in Nollywood award, while Jackie Appiah settled for Face of Ghana Movie & Best Actress of the Year awards. John Dumelo won Best Actor of the Year. Chris Attoh and Zynnell Lydia Zuh also won Best Supporting Actor and Actress of the Year respectively.
Yvonne Nelson’s ‘Single & Married’ movie came on top as the Best Movie of the Year.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town.
