Sarkodie Gives To Underprivileged Children

  As part of his social responsibility, Ghana’s fastest rapper, Sarkodie, last Saturday donated items worth millions of Ghana cedis to underprivileged children at the Royal Seed Home Orphanage at Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.Among the items were food, toiletries, buckets and books. The gesture was to put smiles on the faces of the children and also ease any form hardship at the orphanage. It was also part of activities to mark his birthday celebration. 


The BET award-winner was supported by Samsung, Fan Milk, Shoprite, Indomie, Tigo and Coca Cola. Also present at the donation ceremony was his management team.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sarkodie said he was moved anytime he came across deprived children because he himself did not have a rosy childhood, hence, the urge to help underprivileged children. 
 “This is just one of the many things I will be embarking on as an artiste God has blessed so much. My team and I will fish out other orphanages and support them whenever we can.”
Sarkodie entertained children at the orphanage when he jumped to the dance floor to dance Adowa with some of them.
The children were more than elated to see the rapper visit their orphanage. 
Before making his presentation, Sarkodie rapped some lines from some of his hit songs and advised the children to take whatever they were doing seriously.
