International Model Oluchi Orlandi Moves To Accra This Week

Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Orlandi is expected to touch down in Accra sometime this week ahead of the much anticipated audition for the upcoming Africa Next Top Model reality TV show.

The event is Africa’s version of hit reality TV show competition, America’s Next Top Model by Tyra Banks.
The show will be hosted by Oluchi Orlandi in far away South Africa, but currently she is scouting the continent for models for the big project.
Oluchi was born in 1982 and rose to fame in 1998 when she won the maiden edition of the Face of Africa model contest at age 17. She has since worked with designers, John Galiano, Christian Dior, Chanel and her designer husband, Luca Orlandi.
She currently runs her production outfit, LuLu Productions which will produce the African version of the America’s Next Top Model reality show.
 CBS Studios International has licensed the African format rights for the reality competition series, America’s Next Top Model, to New York-based LuLu Productions.
Africa’s Next Top Model will be produced by Lulu Productions along with Never Machine Productions and will air pan-regionally throughout Africa in 2013 on MNET Africa Magic channels. Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Orlandi will serve as Executive Producer and host.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town.
