Van Vicker Stars With Hollywood’s Carl Payne

Ghanaian and Nollywood actor of Liberian lineage Van Vicker is starring alongside Hollywood’s Carl Payne of ‘The Cosby Show’ fame in a new movie titled, ‘When One Door Closes’.
The movie has been described as a “remarkable dramatic production that has brought different cultures together to tell a captivating African story.”  
It was produced by Robert Peters, Van Vicker and Dr. Clarice Ford-Kulah under White Stone Pictures and Sky + Orange Productions in collaboration with Divine Entertainment International.
It was entirely shot in Atlanta, USA and draws on the acting talent of people from different cultures such as Nigerians, Ghanaians, Liberians,

Carl Anthony Payne is described as a successful stage and television actor, producer, and director. He is best known for his recurring roles as Theo Huxtable’s best friend “Cockroach” on the ever popular and classic NBC series, The Cosby Show and as “Cole Brown” on the FOX network TV series Martin.
The movie also stars internationally known cast as Robert Peters, Clarice Ford-Kulah, Sarah Spicer and award winning actor Chet Anekwe.
Chet Anekwe, an actor and filmmaker was born in Nigeria and raised in New York City. His work spans Hollywood, Nollywood and the New York Theater. He had also received many rave reviews for his theatre performances. He also received rave reviews for roles such as Mark Antony in “Julius Caesar set in Africa” and Paul Bratter in ‘Barefoot In The Park’. Anekwe received a New York City Viv award nomination Best Actor for his portrayal of Joseph Cinque in “Chap Am So (The Amistad Victory)”.
The upcoming movie ‘When One Door Closes’ tells the remarkable tale of struggle, love and triumph. 
Tunde, a prominent Nigerian doctor leaves his practice and emigrates to the United States in search of the American dream, only to realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side. 
He meets a friend (Carl Payne) who encourages him to marry Rose (Sara Spicer), a white American lady in an attempt to get a green card so that he can legalize his stay in the US.  The tale turns sour when Rose falls head over heels in love with him and complicates things.  Meanwhile, Alechi a beautiful African lady is also struggling in the U.S. Her husband Emeka (Chet Anekwe) suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which causes him to hallucinate, become aggressive and act irrational. They are both fighting a massive battle and life seems very dark.
The movie is set for release in cinemas nationwide and across select States in the United States.
Movie enthusiasts would find out what happens when the two families come together in an explosive drama that compels one to look within, to face the demons that try to attack daily.

Eddie Watson Actor, Eddie Watson has lost his dad. The old man reportedly died on Thursday dawn after a short illness. The man died the same week Watson was preparing to go to Liberia to visit his family after incessant calls on him by his dad to come home for a discussion. Unfortunately, he was called on Thursday dawn that his dead had died. It is yet to be confirmed if he is still in Ghana or he has left for Liberia to join the family to mourn their late dad.
