Majid Michel To Host Africa Entertainment Awards In Canada

Ghana’s iconic actor Majid Michel has been announced as one of the high profile personalities to host the 2013 edition of the annual African Entertainment Award in Canada.
The awards show is a premiere awards event in Canada, celebrating and honouring African cultural arts and entertainment. It brings out the best in African entertainment, with international celebrities, entertainers, dignitaries, live performances, awards presentations, and gala reception.
The ceremony will celebrate its third year on Saturday August 31, 2013, at the Living Arts Center, located at 4141 Living Arts Drive, Mississauga, Ontario L5B 4B8.
It is expected to be bigger and better than previous years’ events, with a lot of local and international celebrities in the African entertainment industry.
For the Ghanaian and Nollywood sensation, Majid Michel, hosting the upcoming event is a new page in his entertainment career.
Alongside him on stage will be Nigerian actress Tracy Obonna as the second host of the gala night.
Also there will be special performances by international dance group Ijo Vudu, Dance in Motion, Grammy-nominated Katie Cadet and many more. 
“This year you can expect a lot more exciting changes. The look of the award is new, the venue is spectacular and we will be having a lot more international artists present.”  -Ibrahim Adekale Founder and CEO of the African Entertainment Awards noted.
