Prodigal Drops Single With Raquel

Prodigal, a member of award-winning Ghanaian music group VIP, dropped his solo single featuring controversial songstress, Raquel on Thursday.
The song, which is titled ‘DJs’ Song’, extolled some of Ghana’s celebrated DJs and their work.
The new song is the first of Prodigal’s other singles he will be coming out with in the course of the year.   The song was first played on YFM and it enjoyed huge download on the internet after it was officially released.
It is the first time a member of VIP has dropped a single, an obvious indication that the group is going through some transformation. 
Over the past 10 years, VIP has sold over 5 million records, making the group one of the best selling recording artistes in Africa.

The group is made up of Zeal (Abdul Hamid Ibrahim), Promzy (Emmanuel Promzy Ababio) and Prodigal (Joseph Nana Ofori). They are described as charismatic trio who have revolutionized the African music industry by creating award-winning compositions that blend High Life, Hip Hop and traditional African music.
