Ghanaian Actress Leonora Okine Sympathizes With Tinsel Team Over Burnt Studio

Leonora Okine
Ghanaian actress Leonora Okine has joined the league of African stars sympathising with Mnet over the burning of its ‘Tinsel’ studio in Nigeria.
“It is sad and I can’t believe this has happened. It is shocking but the team should be strong. I have strong faith they will be ba
ck soon,” the beautiful actress told NEWS-ONE this week.
Until January this year, Leonora was an actress on ‘Tinsel’.
The series studio in Nigeria was razed down by fire on Saturday but the cause of the fire still remains speculative.
But reports indicated that the fire started from a section of Phillips warehouse building at Ojota, Lagos, which housed ‘Tinsel’ and SuperSports studios and other offices.
Sources told NEWS-ONE that lots of valuables were burnt in the process and ‘Tinsel’ producers must defy the odds to continue running its programme.

Rumours that some of the series’ already shot episodes and new scripts were all burnt are yet to be confirmed.
‘Tinsel’, an award-winning African series on Mnet, is produced in Nigeria.
Over the years, it has produced talented young stars and contributed to careers of already proven stars.
A number of Ghanaian stars have made appearances on ‘Tinsel’. Currently, Chris Attoh plays a lead role in the soap. Majid Michel recently made an appearance.
