EL Serves Waakye At 2013 Waakye Party

Airtel brand icon and award-winning Ghanaian musician EL will be bringing some excitement to the Easter edition of the popular Waakye Party event.
EL, who has been named special guest star for the event which is scheduled to take place at the Aviation Social Centre on March 31, will be tasked with other different responsibilities aside performing.
He will be serving Waakye as well as interacting with patrons and climax that with a performance of some of his hit songs.
The popular Waakye Party has grown over the years from its infant days when it was known as the Facebook Waakye Party. Since its launch on June 25, 2009 at the forecourt of the Aunty Muni Waakye joint at Labone, the event has now been moved to the Aviation Social Centre.
The Easter edition is slated for March 31, 2013 at the Aviation Social Centre. It is proudly sponsored by Airtel and powered by Events Factory. Activities on the day include face painting, inter-community basketball competition, bouncy castles, inflatable, and goal posts for penalty shootouts.
There will be a variety of Waakye joints including Aunty Muni from Labone, Sister Waakye from Adabraka, Lizzy Waakye from Mataheko and Arletchino Waakye, Osu.
Apart from EL’s, there will be performances from Keche, Dada Hafco and Raquel among others.
Admission is free and there will also be lots of giveaways from Airtel including phones, airtime, souvenirs and lots of other goodies.

The man died the same week Watson was preparing to go to Liberia to visit his family after incessant calls on him by his dad to come home for a discussion.
