Prince David Osei Nets Million Naira Nollywood Deal

Prince David Osei

Popular and talented Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei will this month be signing a mouth-watering two-year deal with Diamond Pictures, one of Nollywood’s influential productions.
Information available to NEWS-ONE indicates that Prince David has already concluded talks to sign the deal.
After the signing, his face would represent the Diamond Pictures brand for the next two years.
The deal involves huge cash and he will also be featured in the production’s upcoming high budget movies.
It is the first time a movie production house has found the need to sign a Ghanaian actor to represent its brand.
“We are keeping the full details of the deal confidential. But I can assure you it’s worth several millions over the two-year duration. I can tell you specifically this. It includes high budget movies with Hollywood collaboration to be shot in about five countries. It also includes Nollywood cinema standard movies,” a NEWS-ONE source said.
David can also work with another production house while the deal hasn’t ended yet.
“We are keeping the exact figure details confidential so that the traditional filmmakers do not think he is now unaffordable.  He is quite humble and insists that during his available times, he will still offer his services at affordable rates to traditional filmmakers just as he has done after shooting his first Hollywood film ‘The Dead’,” NEWS-ONE source added.
Prince David was chosen out of many Ghanaian actors and actresses because of his talent in acting, professionalism and his humility, according to the source.
His first Nollywood project, as part of the deal, will start February 15 and expectations are that the deal will take Prince David’s career to another level.
David is indeed an award-winning Ghanaian actor. He got his international debut in ‘The Dead’, and there are hopes that he will take Ghana to the next level.
