Agya Koo Is A Great Comedian -Van Vicker

Agya Koo and Van Vicker
Popular actor cum producer Van Vicker seems convinced about the skills of popular Ghanaian Twi comic actor Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo.
Van said Agya Koo was an exceptional comedian and would go far as an actor; but he could do that effectively if he had the platform to excel and be known around the world like some of Ghana's English speaking actors.
That, he explained, was his reason for using Agya Koo in his upcoming movie titled, ‘Joni Waka’ to help create a new relationship by merging English and local Twi actors to improve the standards.
Van made the comments while speaking to journalists about his new movie last week.
‘Joni Waka’ will be hitting the big screens via a grand premiere at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on December 14.
‘Joni Waka’ tells the story of Joni (Van Vicker). He goes back to his village because he has made a discovery about his homeland. He has a plan and just how to get it but his unofficial guide, Paa Nii (Agya Koo), “the village eye”, gets things complicated. Meanwhile, the innkeeper’s wife expresses her affection for Joni.
‘Joni Waka’ is produced by Sky Orange Production and directed by Van Vicker.
