Can Nadia Buari Prove Yvonne Nelson Wrong?

Nadia Buari

One of the major issues that top Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has been dealing with in recent times are assertions that she does not like attending her own movies’ premieres.
But she recently said she had never deliberately ignored premieres. The reasons she gave were that the few ones she could not attend were those she was not in town and those she was not informed about.
Indeed, she tried to prove a point as she showed up at most of her recent movies’ premieres.
She was at the premiere of movies like ‘Heroes & Zeroes’, ‘The Hands of Time’ and a few others.
There is another opportunity for Nadia Buari to exonerate herself as her new movie, ‘Single & Married’ with Yvonne Nelson, Chris Attoh, Eddie Watson, Kofi Adjorlolo, Efya, Tiffany and Anita Erskine, is set to premiere this Saturday at Silverbird Cinema.
Will she be at the premiere? Will she prove to Yvonne Nelson, the producer of the movie that she attends her premieres? Has Yvonne invited her for the premiere? But is she in town?

These are few questions being asked by entertainment observers.
Nadia and Yvonne last worked together in a movie over two years ago, which was ‘Hearts Of Men’.
All roads will lead to the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on Saturday for the premiere.
‘Single & Married’ is from the stables of Media GH with top actress Yvonne Nelson as the producer.
The movie tells the suspense-filled story of Jay, played by 2011 Pan African Best Actor Chris Attoh, a top league real estate contractor; Kim (Yvonne Nelson), ex-model and fashionista and a contemporary housewife; Raymond (Kweku Elliot), an accomplished sculptor; Paula (Nadia Buari), a stuck-up lawyer; Ranesh (Kofi Adjorlolo), a 69-year-old multimillionaire and Vida (Tana Adelana), a woman just in it for the money.
The lives of these six characters are inter-woven in a humorous but thrilling plot of love, lust and lies.
Movie enthusiasts will get to see the entire story on September 22 as the movie premieres at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra.
