Yvonne Nelson and Yvonne Okoro

Actress Yvonne Okoro was one of the top Ghanaian actresses expected to grace the red carpet at Yvonne Nelson’s ‘Single & Married’ premiere on Saturday night.
However, she didn’t show up. The two Yvonnes are well known for being very good pals. They like hanging out together most often.
In recent times, because of their busy schedules, they hardly make time to hang out. But some time two weeks ago when Yvonne Nelson was travelling to London, Okoro dropped her off at the airport.
Most journalists at Silverbird Cinema asked why Okoro didn’t show up at a special occasion like Yvonne Nelson’s premiere.
However, the actress’ close aides told NEWS-ONE that she was unwell, hence she could not make it to the premiere.
“You know Yvonne won’t miss out on Yvonne’s premiere for anything. They are like sisters. She was ill and Yvonne Nelson was aware of it. That’s why she didn’t come. She has been indoors for days after she was hospitalized. It was just bad that her illness coincided with the premiere,” a source said but did not give details about the ailment.
Meanwhile the premiere was touted the biggest successful at the Silverbird Cinema in Ghana
