Ghanaian Stars To Praise God On Sunday

Some of Ghana’s celebrated stars will on Sunday, September 2, be converging on the Trinity Baptist Church, opposite Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) near Legon in Accra, as part of the Ambassadors for Christ crusade to proclaim the good name of God.
The long list of celebrities includes actors, TV and radio presenters, comedians, musicians and other celebrities from the various facets of the showbiz industry.
Among them are Majid Michel, Prince David, Funny Face, Eddy Nartey, Timothy Bentum, Jeremy of YFM, Ekow Smith, and Ken Fiati. The rest are Kwasi Oteng, Joe Mettle, Maa Afia, John Sena, Nyameba, Enoch Fletcher and Pelgrave B. Danquah and a lot more.
The programme, the first of its kind, is to serve as a platform for the celebrities to testify about the goodness of God and let people know how God has been helpful to them and their respective careers. There will also be life-changing inspirational messages from the celebrities to praise and worship God.
Ambassadors for Christ crusade will take off Sunday 3pm and end at 7pm. There will be a number of activities including fund raising activities, out of which proceeds will be donated to an orphanage.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia. Venus is yet to answer critics why the production was done in Gambia.   JJ Bunny came down from her Houston base last November for the movie in Ghana. After the movie, she travelled to Ghana. She has since remained in Africa as she has been bombarded with movie scripts. She has been described as a Nollywood US A-List actress residing in the United States. Eddie Watson Actor, Eddie Watson has lost his dad. The old man reportedly died on Thursday dawn after a short illness. The man died the same week Watson was preparing to go to Liberia to visit his family after incessant calls on him by his dad to come home for a discussion. Unfortunately, he was called on Thursday dawn that his dead had died. It is yet to be confirmed if he is still in Ghana or he has left for Liberia to join the family to mourn their late dad.
