Ghanaian Actress Luckie Lawson Loses Her Granny

Actress Luckie Lawson has lost her grandmother, called Azana.

Though details of the deceased are still scanty, NEWS-ONE sources said she died a couple of weeks ago in Ghana while the actress was in the United State of America.

Luckie has been in the USA for over a month now. She is expected to return for her granny’s funeral very soon.

Luckie is undoubtedly one of Ghana’s controversial actresses. She has featured in a number of movies and is still relevant in the industry even though she relocated to the USA for over a year before returning to Ghana.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month. The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia. Venus is yet to answer critics why the production was done in Gambia. JJ Bunny came down from her Houston base last November for the movie in Ghana. After the movie, she travelled to Ghana.
