Child Star Rahim Banda Shows Wonders In Latest Movie


Rahim Banda, a 2012 African Movie Academy Awards nominee, indeed stands tall when child actors in Africa are mentioned.
He is not only enjoying more movie roles but has been taking his acting skills to the next level.
Industry sources have said he put up a sterling performance in an upcoming movie titled ‘Stand By Me’ from the stables of Bandex Production, which happens to belong to his dad.
Rahim reportedly surprised the movie’s crew with his performance.
Weeks ago, the movie’s posters were released on the web and trailers on TV announcing the movie would be out soon.
The posters captured Rahim handcuffed and they are generating a lot of attention even before the movie finally hits the market.
Rahim Banda is described as an amazing child actor and there is no doubt he will one day become the leading man in Ghana’s film industry.
He has become a household name in the movie industry in the short period that he has been acting. He is loved around the country and has become a role model to most children.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia.
