Eddie Watson |
There are reasons to believe that things are going very well for Liberian-born Ghanaian actor Eddie Watson.
However, latest updates on the actor said he recently deactivated his fan page on Facebook but no reasons were given for the decision.
But the actor’s management announced that his fan page was going to be reactivated.
“From Monday the Eddie Watson's FAN PAGE will be reactivated. We apologize for the long away stay; he had to quit because we noticed some 'guys' were tripping. Eddie wouldn’t discriminate because of your sexual desire but please... Don’t trip because he's not one, u know what we mean, lol,” his team posted on Facebook.
The statement has made it obvious that some people were on Eddie’s trail, hence he decided to shut down his fan page.
Meanwhile, he has released new photos of himself on the fan page which is garnering attention on the social network.
Eddie is currently busy transiting between Ghana and Nigeria shooting movies. He last appeared in ‘Hotel Babylon’, directed by Kobi Rana.
He has a couple of other movies that are being released sometime this week. He has been described as fresh looking actor, very respectful and above all the most masculine in Ghana’s movie industry.
He entered Nigeria’s Nollywood late last year where he shot a couple of movies starring alongside Ngozi Ezeonu, Queen Owoye, Lola and more.
Eddie is best remembered for his role with top actress Yvonne Nelson in Abdul Salam produced, ‘4play Reloaded’ movie.
Eddie had a stint with Ghana’s movie industry less than three years ago. His first was a movie by Bandex Productions titled ‘Million’, where he played a security guard for Kofi Adjorlolo.
He was also in ‘Masters of The Game’ as a detective, followed by a scene in ‘Turn Me On’ by Roger Q production.
Subsequently, he got a script for ‘Somewhere In Africa’. He went for a single scene but he end up doing more.
He was also in ‘A Reason To Kill’ by Venus Films and more.
Eddie is a former student of College of West Africa and continued at the University of Liberia where he majored in Economics.
