GTV Anchor Celebrates 5years On TV

Ghana Television (GTV) morning entertainment host Atto Turkson celebrated his birthday on Saturday.
He marked the day with a sizeable party to also mark his fifth year on GTV as an entertainment host.
The party was held on Saturday evening at the SSNIT Guesthouse in Accra where a lot of friends gathered to wish him well. There was enough to drink and eat.
Two cakes were cut; one for his birthday and the other for his fifth anniversary on GTV.
Inside sources said a number of showbiz writers who were at the event got drunk and exhibited some exciting antics.
Among them were Peace FM’s Eugene Sarfo Nkansah, Ghanacelebrities.com’s Ebenezer Ananfio, Graphic Showbiz’s Kofi Duah, Spectator’s James Obeng and others.
Turkson also received goodwill messages from his friends and fans on social networks including Facebook.
Turkson, born March 10, 1984, is a broadcast journalist. He is also a TV show host, producer and production assistant.
He started his education at the Ministry of Health School and continued at Labone Senior High and finally the University of Ghana, where he studied Psychology and Linguistics.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia. Eddie Watson Actor, Eddie Watson has lost his dad. The old man reportedly died on Thursday dawn after a short illness. The man died the same week Watson was preparing to go to Liberia to visit his family after incessant calls on him by his dad to come home for a discussion. Unfortunately, he was called on Thursday dawn that his dead had died. It is yet to be confirmed if he is still in Ghana or he has left for Liberia to join the family to mourn their late dad.
