Top Stars Missing @ Abdul Salam Party




Top Ghanaian movie producer and CEO of Venus Film Production, Abdul Salam, threw a sizable party in his house at Ablekuma, a suburb of Accra on Sunday, November 6.
The party was part of this year’s Eidul Adha celebrations by Muslims in Ghana.
The party saw some of the top names in Ghana’s movie industry passing through Salam’s multi-million dollar home to celebrate with him.
Among them were ladies man John Dumelo, recently-robbed actor Eddie Watson, director Frank Rajah, veteran actor Eddie Owusu Afram, and Don P, husband of actress Soraya.
Lots of media men, including NEWS-ONE correspondent Francis Addo, were at the party.
Guests were treated to drink, meals and good music as the wished Salam the best.
However, the likes of Majid Michel, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Nadia Buari, Eddie Nartey, Kalsume Sinare, Samira Yakubu, Van Vicker, Roselyn Ngissah, Juliet Ibrahim and most of the actors that the producer works with were not at the party.
It is not clear if they were not invited.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia. Venus is yet to answer critics why the production was done in Gambia.   JJ Bunny came down from her Houston base last November for the movie in Ghana. After the movie, she travelled to Ghana. She has since remained in Africa as she has been bombarded with movie scripts. She has been described as a Nollywood US A-List actress residing in the United States.
