Viasat 1 Takes Media To The Bar

Viasat 1 last week Thursday brought a number of Ghanaian journalists together to celebrate their job as part of the TV station’s outdoor event dubbed Viasat 1 Media Bar.
The media bar is a programme that aims at bringing media personnel together to socialize, network and engage in discussions that inure to their benefit while they also entertain themselves.

The Hollywood lounge at the Citizen Kofi Entertainment Centre, Osu, was the venue for the exciting occasion which attracted a number of personnel from various media houses in Ghana, including NEWS-ONE.
Majority among them were members of staff of Viasat and entertainment journalists.
Ama K Abebrese, Joselyn Dumas, Ameyaw Debrah, Francis Addo, Eugene Osafo Nkansah, Ebenezer Ananfio, Famous Atitsogbe, Obed Boafo and Jimmy Quist were just a few of the names at the event.     
There were adequate drinks and khebabs to party with as well as good music from Citizen Kofi DJs of the event.
Viasat 1 is part of the international entertainment group Modern Times Group MTG AB. MTG is the largest TV operator in Scandinavia and the Baltic States and is majority shareholder in Russia’s biggest independent television network.
MTG runs its own free-TV channels in a total of eleven countries and pay-TV channels in a total of 24 countries.
The TV station in Ghana is not relenting on its aim of taking over the airways and the media bar was one of the strategic moves to achieve that aim.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town.
