Majid Michel Turns 31

Actor Majid Michel added one more year with a birthday celebration last week.
He turned 31 on Thursday September 22 and he reportedly spent the day with family and friends in the USA last week.
He has since received a lot of congratulatory messages from friends, especially fellow actors.
It is not clear whether he will have a big birthday party later this month to celebrate his birthday.
However, it is obvious that Majid hardly organizes parties as he is always busy on set.       
He was born September 22, 1980 in Accra to a Lebanese father and Ghanaian mother. He grew up in Accra and attended St. Theresa's Primary School, and Mfantsipim School.
Majid Michel, who has featured in quite a number of Ghanaian and Nollywood movies, has gradually become a leading man in both industries.
He first starred in his the movie, ‘Divine Love’ in 2004 which also featured Jackie Appiah and Van Vicker.
Since then, Majid has gone on to star in dozens of movies, some of which include ‘Bursting Out’, ‘Checkmate’, ‘Silent Scandal’, ‘The Game’, ‘Somewhere In Africa’, ‘4play’, ‘Chelsea’ andCrime to Christ’.
He has won a number of awards within a short period of time.
Some of them are Ghana Movie Awards Best Actor, ZAFAA Award and NAFCA. He also received several nominations from African Movie Academy Awards.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The man died the same week Watson was preparing to go to Liberia to visit his family after incessant calls on him by his dad to come home for a discussion.
