CEO of Citizen Kofi; Dr. Kofi Amoah Celebrates Birthday Today


Today marks the birthday of Dr. Kofi Amoah, CEO of Citizen Kofi Entertainment Centre. 
He will be celebrating the milestone quietly with his family, NEWS-ONE gathered.
It is yet to be confirmed if he would organize a party for friends and industry players like he always does.
Last year, he threw a white party as part of activities to celebrate the day. The event attracted a large number of people and showbiz icons.
Dr. Kofi Amoah is described as a Ghanaian businessman extraordinaire.
He is an accomplished entrepreneur who has founded and developed several companies including hospitality and commercial real estate ventures.
He also played an influential role in Ghanaian football.
Dr Amoah was a member of the Ghana Football Administration (GFA) Committee that engineered the first ever appearance of the Ghana Black Stars at a World Cup (Germany 2006). He also engineered the first multi-million dollar sponsorship package for the national team that significantly assisted in boosting the team's performance to become the pride and joy of the nation and of Africa at the last World Cup in South Africa.
In entertainment, he has contributed in many ways and has called on government to give attention to entertainment industry.
A couple of weeks ago, Dr. Amoah donated an amount of $100,000 to re-brand the image of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) as a token to support the entertainment industry.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The movie was directed by Frank Rajah for Abdul Salam’s Venus Film Production. The movie, shot last year, is Venus’ first movie in Gambia. Venus is yet to answer critics why the production was done in Gambia.   JJ Bunny came down from her Houston base last November for the movie in Ghana. After the movie, she travelled to Ghana. She has since remained in Africa as she has been bombarded with movie scripts. She has been described as a Nollywood US A-List actress residing in the United States.
