Red Lipsticks Moves To Conference Center

Hype Records, organizers of the first all-female concert dubbed ‘Red Lipsticks Music Show’, has changed the venue of the show from the National Theater to the Dome at the Accra International Conference Center.
General Manager of Hype Records Sylvia Nana Appiah indicated they were anticipating a huge audience at the event and the National Theatre may not be able to contain them.
“After the launch of the show, the response from Ghanaians towards press releases gives a strong signal that the national theater would not be able to contain the heat, hence a quick swift of venues to a more open space, so then the Dome became a choice,” she noted.
She also revealed that the show, by calculations, was expected to attract over three thousand people.
CEO of Hype Records Opoku Agyeman, otherwise called O.P. stressed that “the change of venue shows that Ghanaians are about to witness the definition of musical concerts and as organizers we are ready to give people their money worth”.
He challenged all females in the country to patronize the ‘Red Lipsticks Music Concert’, as it was a show to celebrate women in the country.
‘Red Lipsticks Music concert’, which is expected to be an annual event, will come off at the Dome on October 29.
Artistes on the bill include Eazzy, Mimi, Tiffany, Mzbel, Efya, Raquel, Sherifa Gunu and St. Riya.
