Eddie is known for his roles in movies like ‘Kiss Me If You Can’, ‘The King Is Mine’ and ‘Crime To Christ’.
His supporting role in Frank Rajah’s ‘Somewhere In Africa’ has earned him a nomination at the first ever Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Awards (NAFCA).
The movie, ‘Somewhere in Africa’, reportedly topped Ghanaian movies submitted for the awards with 12 nominations.

The year definitely didn’t start well for Eddy Nartey, as he was missing on the movie screens for several months.
Behind the scenes, he is working tirelessly to take his career to the next level. He told NEWS-ONE yesterday morning that he made a debut appearance in Nigeria’s movie industry after he featured in two movies, featuring Patience Ozokwor, Olu Jacobs and Clem Ohemeze in the last two months.
Eddie recently graduated from the University of Ghana where he pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts programme.
He is a former Visual Arts student of the Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School. He first entered the University of Ghana in 2005 and did a diploma course in Theatre Arts, after which he returned for a degree programme.
Nartey is one of Ghana’s remarkable talents on the silver screens. He made his screen debut in the movie ‘Adventure of Anansewa’ in 2004. Subsequently, he appeared in ‘Wedlock Of The gods’.
Prior to appearing on the screens, the Prampram-born actor, who grew up in Accra, was acting on stage. His last drama group was David Dontoh’s Kozi-Kozi.
