Ghana’s darling boy, DJ Mensah, has been thrilling music fans in the United State of America, where he is currently touring with rapper, Sarkodie and Nana Boroo.
Mensah, who is often described as Ghana’s ‘untouchable DJ’, is noted for winning the heart of music lovers with his genius style of disc jockeying.
And that is exactly what he is doing with the turntables in the United State of America where he is currently raising Ghana’s flag high.
Mensa was the DJ for this year’s Ghanafest celebrations held in Chicago where he performed creditably well on July 30.
He also rocked the show’s pre-party club section on July 29 and also did the after-party as well as a barbecue on July 31.
Subsequently, he was made the DJ for famous promoter Sammy Tugas’ all-white boat ride party on June 5 and it’s after-party at the Armenia Hall in New York. He was also behind the turntable in North Carolina where Boroo also shot a new music video on August 13.
Come August 20, Mensa will be thrilling New York fans again with Sarkodie on stage to do what he knows best.
On Saturday August 27, the two will be performing in Maryland and another show in Massachusetts on September 4. Also, DJ Mensa will be supporting Sarkodie in Colorado and Los Angeles respectively where they will also be performing.
DJ Mensa, born Michael Mensah Ayenu, celebrated his 10 years in disc jockeying last year. Over the years, he proved to be one of Ghana’s finest, hence the accolade, Ghana’s untouchable DJ.
As an events manager and a DJ, he sees light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to entertainment.
“I believe life is a journey, it has its up and downs,” he once said.
With his golden touches on the mixer, DJ Mensa has often dazzled crowds and brought parties to life. His smooth mixing, coupled with wild cuts, is one of his hallmarks.
He started disc jockeying with Sound Max Entertainment where he played at parties, funerals and other occasions. He has also worked with clubs like Yegoala and Aphrodisiac Night Clubs and has worked with Charterhouse and Bola Ray's Empire Entertainment.
Currently, he is the official DJ for Ghana’s fastest rapper, Sarkodie.
