Barely six months after popular musician A-Plus, born Kwame Asare Obeng, signaled a possible exit from the music industry with the launch of his comedy show, Eugene Baah, a member of music trio Praye, seems to be treading the same path.

The fiancé of famous actress Beverly Afaglo, who calls himself the ‘choirmaster’, has taken a new career as radio presenter with Hitz Fm, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group.
He now hosts a music show on Hitz Fm dubbed ‘Hitz Mania with the Choirmaster’.
He will not only entertain listeners on the show but also take listeners through the various rudiments of composing music.
He will hence invite top notch music producers into the Hitz Fm studios and have discussions with them about topics to educate listeners.
However, it is not clear how long he will continue to host the show.
Eugene will officially launch the programme tonight at the plush Citizen Kofi Entertainment Centre, where he will spend time to give details about the programme.
This is expected to bring together a number of entertainment gurus and personnel from the Multimedia Group.
The ceremony also coincides with his birthday. So as part of the activities of the evening, Eugene, and co-host of Viasat 1’s The One show PY Addo Boateng, who is celebrating his birthday will be cutting their birthday cakes amidst popping of champagnes.
“The event will also serve as Eugene’s graduation party after he graduated with a first degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) last May,” NEWS-ONE was told.
A number of musicians including Dr. Cryme and Paulina Oduro will be passing through.
Eugene, popularly known as ‘Praye Honeho,’ is regarded as the most versatile and eloquent member of the music group and he has indeed proved that by graduating with a first degree and now, a radio career.
