The first of its kind, the show is designed at recruiting models and further training them to become supermodels. It is also to serve as a platform for models to exhibit and nurture their talents and contribute immensely to the burgeoning modeling and fashion industry in Ghana.
Opened for unisex models between the ages of 16 and 25, the show will hit the screens after September this year and last for 13 weeks.
In all, 20 models will be picked from various auditions that will be supervised by super model judges.
Finally, when the show commences, there will be evictions where some of the models will be evicted to allow the best ones to continue for the ultimate prize.
The models will be engaged in fashion shows, fashion challenges and other rigorous activities to get the best out of them.
The final ten will however go for the grand finale, with the overall winner being guaranteed an international contract with a modeling company, fashion accessories, portfolios and other attractive souvenirs from sponsors.
CEO of Calidad Limited, Jana Mahdi, who is also an international, model, told NEWS-ONE that the event would break barriers and make an impact in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
She said she decided to embark on this project because a lot of talents in the modeling industry were going waste.
“I prefer if the models in the reality show are not professional models, because with that I can train them and they can learn more,” she added.
Jana concluded that auditions will start in September to set the stage for the main show.
